Guest FacilitiesThe guest lounge room is located downstairs and has plenty of comfy chairs to sink into and a wood fire to warm your toes whilst sipping a glass of complimentary port on a cold winters’ evening. The large kitchen is the hub of the house and is where breakfast is served. This leads out onto a pretty courtyard, perfect for an alfresco breakfast accompanied by the local bird life, or maybe a glass of wine later in the day. The French House was built in the 1980’s by a local Frenchman who modelled the house on his parent's home in southern France. Hence the house became known to the locals as the Frenchman’s house, and later shortened to The French House. |
