A family run vineyard, Priory Ridge is known for making award winning wines. If you love a good pinot noir you simply can’t leave without paying their owner Julie a visit at their cellar door down the road!

In the heart of St Helen’s you’ll find a trendy beer garden aptly named ‘The Social’. If you’re after a craft beer, local wine, delicious tapas and a bit of live music to wind down for the afternoon then this is the place for you.

If you’re a fan of cheese (who isn’t when they’re on holiday!) you’ll thoroughly enjoy a pitstop at Pyengana Dairy. Positioned on a working dairy you’ll be able to enjoy a delicious cheese platter or cheese pizza while watching the cows come and go.

Within five minutes of The French House you can find yourself at the Serpentarium Wildlife Park, an indoor reptile exhibit, presenting exotic captive bred reptiles like the impressive black anaconda! Our tip? Make sure you plan your trip around their daily keeper presentations and reptile interactions that occur at 1pm.

At more than 90m St Columba is one of Tasmania’s highest and most impressive waterfalls, making it well worth the 30 minute trip from St Helen’s.
